Cultural Advantage:
Heshan people are kind-hearted, hard working, and very friendly.
Public security is in good order.
There is one five-star hotel now under construction, one four-star
hotel and five three-star hotels in Heshan City. There are also a
variety of recreational facilities such as golf clubs, bowling pubs,
gymnasiums, etc. |
Heshan people are intelligent and keen to learn. There are 8 high
schools in the city. In the recent 14 years, the Heshan No. 1 Middle
School keeps a good record in the entrance exam: more than 99.8% of
the students can enter a higher school, enjoying very good reputation
in Jiangmen area.
Awarded honors: Within China, Heshan is one of the hundred strongest
counties (cities) in comprehensive factors, and is listed as the 49th
best county overall in the year 2001. The city has been awarded many
honorary titles by Guangdong Province and the state. These titles
include: "the national advanced county (city) in physical culture,"
"the provincial sanitary city," and "the hundred national
most outstanding counties (cities) in afforestation."
